Residence Hall Move-In and Move-Out

Residence Hall Move-In and Move-Out
Residence hall move-in and move-out are two of the largest waste-generating events on campus each year. The Recycling team has implemented ways to recycling cardboard and styrofoam during move-in, and donation opportunities for unwanted items during move-out.
Move-in
Welcome to campus! During move-in each August, recycling corrals (see right) to recycle cardboard, plastic film, and styrofoam will be set up outside of each residence hall. The Campus Wide Recycling Corral Map shows the locations of corrals outside each residence hall. Please bring flattened cardboard and packing styrofoam and leave it in the corrals for pickup during move-in.
